We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Estimator—Project Manager for a full-time position at our head office in Elland, West Yorkshire.

You can expect to

  • Contribute to achieving sales targets by ensuring excellent client interactions, delivering superior customer service, administrative coordination, and support.
  • Prepare client quotes and sales documentation as required.
  • Regularly review construction lists, such as Barbour ABI and our internal CRM, for projects with competitor products specified.
  • Manage the design, quoting, and take-off process for substitution jobs.
  • Input and maintain client and project information in the CRM.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with existing installers and seek new ones.
  • Project manage jobs from budgeting to installation, keeping track of key dates and milestones to ensure projects stay on track.
  • Continuously build upon Autex’s reputation of quality, design excellence, and reliability and contribute to maintaining and increasing Autex’s market share.
  • Proactively resolve client queries by acting as a liaison between the client and the relevant Autex department in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Learn about and promote our products and systems and maintain knowledge.
  • Attend industry seminars, trade shows, and networking events as required.
  • Adhere to all requirements outlined within Autex’s Environmental Policy and Quality Policy.
  • Understand individual role and responsibility in the achievement of ISO 14001 and ISO 9001
  • Support internal environment training and awareness programmes and attend employee training and development.
  • Communicate and educate team members on relevant environmental issues, ensuring that company procedures are appropriate and implemented.
  • Maintain a constant focus on quality with complete dedication, commitment, and teamwork.
  • Support the cultivation of a team environment of continuous improvement.

 

You will have

  • Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • An eye for detail, proofreading for accuracy, and maintaining quality expectations.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information and answer questions in terms that are easy to comprehend.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Comfortable with learning product information and solutions quickly.
  • Experience in the building materials and construction industry is essential.
  • Must be able to read architectural drawings and specifications and perform take-offs. Prior architectural quoting experience is essential.
